LEKCI Founder / former president (1983-2018)

LEKCI Founder Chairman, 1st President Shihan Felix Giovanni R. Guarino and his 9 fellow founders founded the LEKCI in 1983. He retired as Police Officer in Manila Police Department (Manila's Finest), formerly Western Police District Command of the National Capital Regional Command (NCRC former CAPCOM).  Shihan Guarino represented the Philippines Presidential Team A during the 1974 World Karate International Invitational Championship held in Manila Philippines hosted by other foreign countries. He also championed the Judo Competition at the Manila Police Department with LEKCI Adviser Police/Col. Mar Roxas of the City Hall Detachment, Manila City Hall, Manila, Philippines as his strongest opponent. This competition was organized by the PAJA (Philippine Amateur Judo Association) in 1973. 

LEKCI Co-Founder, 1st Vice-President Retired Police/Col. Sensei Paul Garcia Tucay. He founded the LEKCI PUP Sta. Mesa Chapter in Manila during 1983. Before 1983, he taught his student judo-karate in Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa, Manila. Sensei Tucay is one of the operatives of the defunct PACC now PAOCTF based in Camp Crame, Quezon City, Philippines. He also served in AFP Intelligence Service during his time. He started as a Constable of the Philippines Constabulary (Insular Police) and rose from the rank.

LEKCI Co-Founder, current President (2019-present) Shihan Efren Gualberto Barros. President Barros worked as bodyguard of the Saudi Prince in Riyadh/Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He came back to assume the LEKCI presidency post and won. Shihan Barros triumphantly conquered every tournament competition in the Riyadh/Jeddah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during his time. He is also a champion inside the Vilcat competition during his teenage years and the youngest black belter to win the championship.

LEKCI Co-Founder Sensei Sammy Tugaoen of the LEKCI Headquarters (Main Dojo) taught his students while other founders were gone for work or duty. His early departure to heaven and his unselfish friendship is an inspiration to every LEKCI member.

LEKCI Co-Founder Sensei Diosdado Calderon helped his co-founders build this strong organization way back in 1983. Sensei Dodie represented the Presidential Team A in 1974 World Karate Invitational Tournament held in Manila, Philippines and hosted by the foreign countries.

LEKCI Co-Founder, Sensei Robert Santos is a Retired Police Officer from Western Police District Command under the NCRC / CAPCOM based in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, Philippines. Sensei Santos strongly believes that this organization will become the most awarded teams in the fields of karate competition in the Luzon area.
