Why is International Philippines Martial Arts Federation? Well, Guro Carlos G. Acosta came from Lakan Presas and taught him during the old good days in the Philippines. Guro Acosta came to the US with East Bay Kombatan (Arnis).  I have known Guro Acosta for a longtime and I asked him to train me and my brother Robert so we can form our very own LEKCi Arnis Group in California, USA. Guro Acosta never hesitates to share his Arnis knowledge and now we have the Level 1 Certification. We know that this is not the end yet because we need to get Level 10 to become black belt in Arnis.
